RONALD CERRITOS BIOGRAPHY

Ronald's story is about a true soccer enthusiast who transformed his passion into a successful career. His journey from a player to a coach is a testament to his deep understanding of the game and his unwavering commitment to its development. He firmly believes that athletic achievement results from dedication and discipline, values that he has instilled in his players at every step of his coaching career. 

Ronald Cerritos resonates with the San Jose Earthquakes, where he holds the record for the most assists with an impressive 47. His exceptional skills were recognized early on, as he was named in the MLS Best XI in his first season with the San Jose Earthquakes, a testament to his talent and dedication to the game.

He is the second-highest goal scorer for the San Jose Earthquakes, with 61 goals. Cerritos played for Dallas Burn, DC United, Houston Dynamo, and Alianza FC. He also made over 60 appearances with the El Salvador national team, Scoring 8 goals and playing in important tournaments such as the World Cup qualifiers and Gold Cup.

His successful years at San Jose Earthquakes earned him a Hall of Fame award on September 29, 2010. He has 18 years of coaching experience with youth soccer players, playing in the area's most competitive tournaments and leagues. 

Coach Cerritos has a National "A" Coaching License and is now the Director of Cerritos Soccer Academy.
